Dry Dog Food

Dry dog food (kibble) is the everyday base diet for most dogs in Sri Lanka: complete nutrition, easy to store in the heat, and good for teeth. Around 100 products here from Royal Canin, SmartHeart, Pedigree, Classic Pet, VET-PRO, Black Hawk and Eukanuba, in 1 kg to 20 kg bags priced from Rs. 700 to Rs. 52,900.

Puppy formulas run up to 12 months (18 months for large breeds). Adult formulas are split by breed size. Senior and light formulas suit dogs over 7 years or dogs that need to lose weight. Veterinary diets for kidney, urinary, skin and digestive issues are listed under health.

Store kibble in a sealed container away from sunlight. A 10 kg bag lasts a 20 kg adult dog roughly 5 weeks.
