One chew kills fleas for 12 weeks. Tick cover is 12 weeks against Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus and Dermacentor variabilis, and 8 weeks against Rhipicephalus sanguineus, the brown dog tick. Brown dog tick is the common tick in Sri Lanka, so if that is your main concern, re-dose at 8 weeks. Do not give doses less than 8 weeks apart.

Bravecto does not cover Ixodes holocyclus.

Tip
Give at or around feeding time. Record the date and set a reminder for the next dose. Consult your veterinarian if your dog has existing health conditions.

Long-Lasting Protection

Bravecto gives 12 weeks of flea cover from a single chew, instead of a monthly treatment. Tick cover runs 12 weeks for Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus and Dermacentor variabilis, and 8 weeks for the brown dog tick Rhipicephalus sanguineus. Fluralaner kills adult fleas and stops new infestations establishing over that period.

Easy to Administer

The chewable tablet is palatable and most dogs take it readily. For a dog weighing 2 to 4.5 kg, use this 112.5 mg strength. Give the whole chew at or around feeding time so it is absorbed properly. Do not give to dogs with a known hypersensitivity to any ingredient.

Safety and Efficacy

Fluralaner has been studied in field and laboratory trials in dogs. Weigh your dog and use the strength that matches its current weight. If your dog vomits within a couple of hours of dosing, speak to your vet about re-dosing.

Safety information

Fluralaner is a member of the isoxazoline class of medicines.

This class has been associated with neurological reactions including muscle tremor, loss of coordination and seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs with no previous history of them. Use with caution in dogs with existing epilepsy or a neurological disorder, and tell your vet before use.
