Diflubenzuron works by interfering with the development of the new chitin exoskeleton crustacean parasites. So the parasitic larvae continues to feed and develop normally until they shed their old exoskeleton. Dimilin (Diflubenzurondie) inhibits the formation of the new exoskeleton, and kills the parasite.
