A clear, wire-free temperature display with programmable high and low alarms.

The HG073 attaches to the outside of the aquarium and reads water temperature through the glass with an aluminium-alloy sensor. Nothing hangs inside the tank, leaving the aquascape clean and unobstructed.

Key features

• External sensor: suitable for freshwater, saltwater and reptile enclosures.
• Transparent touchscreen display: keeps the tank visible and switches between °C and °F using the SET button.
• High/low alarm: set upper and lower limits so abnormal temperatures are easy to spot.
• Front-access battery: replace the button cell without peeling the thermometer off the glass.
• Two display sizes: Small is 2.18 × 2.36 in; Large is 2.87 × 3.0 in.

Installation tip

Clean and dry the outside glass before mounting. Position the unit away from direct sunlight, heaters and filter outlets for a representative reading. Do not submerge the display.
