HOW TO USE POND SALT

Therapeutic

After a large water change, or if the fish look and behave in an 'out of sorts manner, for no apparent reason

Dose Salt at 0.15%
1.5 kgs to 1,000 Litres Water
Preventative

When introducing new fish to the pond

Dose Salt at 0.3%
3 kgs to 1,000 Litres Water
Medicative

When fish are infected with a known disease, ulcers or parasites, and the usage of salt is recommended

Dose Salt up to 0.6%
6 kgs to 1,000 Litrs Water
Complimentary

The efficacy of some medications are greatly enhanced when combined with Salt
