Why a Large Breed Food

A 40 kg dog puts far more load through its hips and elbows than a 10 kg one, and it eats a good deal more to hold its weight. This food carries glucosamine at 350 mg/kg and chondroitin sulphate at 75 mg/kg for the joints, and 26.0% protein for muscle maintenance.

Digestion and Stool Quality

Large breeds are prone to loose stools. The recipe uses highly digestible protein with crude fibre held to 1.3% maximum, and beet pulp in the composition. The kibble shape slows eating down, which helps as well.
