The Hygger HG027 mounts outside the aquarium to preserve swimming and aquascaping space. Its wide waterfall return improves surface movement, while the adjustable intake and rotatable skimmer remove floating debris and oily film.

Setup and care

1. Fill the filter chamber with aquarium water before switching it on; do not run the pump dry.
2. Keep the skimmer upright at the surface and slightly offset from the main intake.
3. Rinse the sponge and filter media in removed tank water every two to four weeks.
