Effective Flea and Tick Prevention

NexGard Chew is a parasite treatment for extra large dogs weighing over 25 kg and up to 50 kg. Afoxolaner acts on the nervous system of fleas and ticks as they feed, killing fleas within 8 hours and ticks within 48 hours.

Easy-to-Administer Chewable Tablets

The chew carries beef braised flavouring, so most dogs take it without a struggle. Each pack contains three chews, which is three monthly doses. Do not give to dogs with a known hypersensitivity to any ingredient.

Dosing Interval and Age

Flea activity lasts at least 5 weeks and tick activity lasts one month, so give one chew a month, on the same date each month. NexGard may be used in dogs from 8 weeks of age weighing at least 2 kg. Match the chew to your dog's current weight.

Safety information

Afoxolaner is a member of the isoxazoline class of medicines.

This class has been associated with neurological reactions including muscle tremor, loss of coordination and seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs with no previous history of them. Use with caution in dogs with existing epilepsy or a neurological disorder, and tell your vet before use.
