Dry and wet dog food in Sri Lanka from the brands vets and breeders actually use: Royal Canin, SmartHeart, Pedigree, Black Hawk, Classic Pet, VET-PRO, Eukanuba and Drools. Over 120 products, from Rs. 300 pouches to 20 kg bags.

How to choose: match the bag to your dog's life stage (puppy, adult, senior) and size. Small breeds need smaller kibble and more calories per kg; large breeds need joint support and controlled growth as puppies. If you are switching brands, mix the new food in over 5 to 7 days to avoid an upset stomach.

Large packs (10 kg and up) work out cheaper per kg and are delivered to your door, so you do not have to carry them.
